  • More than half (57%) of online shoppers abandon online shopping journey because the page is too slow to load. Another 42% of conversion is lost to the waiting hourglass cursor and/or spinning wheel of death.

  • Failed customed expectations due to broken links leads to almost half (47%) online shoppers to abandon their cart. Broken buttons (38%) and broken forms (36%) also adversely affect conversion.

  • Poor user experience is another leading cause of abandoned cart with 45% of online shoppers saying they quit before checkout due to confusing navigation and 39% are unable to find what they are looking for due to overlays and pop-ups.
